7/11/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved Upon arrival to the summer program setting, the client appeared to be in a content as evidenced by greeting QMHP-C with moderate emotions. During morning socialization activities, the client followed directions given while cleaning up his area after eating breakfast. During midday socialization activities, the client exhibited difficulty interacting with his peers in a positive manner by arguing repeatedly while watching a movie at the theater. During afternoon observations, the client exhibited difficulty interacting with peers/adults in a positive manner, controlling impulsive behavior by staying in his assigned area, and following directions given during lunch. QMHP-C greeted the client upon arrival to the summer program setting. QMHP-C inquired about the client’s morning. During morning observations, QMHP-C provided the client with verbal praise. QMHP-C encouraged the client to continue following directions given. During midday socialization activities, QMHP-C redirected the client reiterated the importance of interacting with his peers in a positive manner. During afternoon observations, QMHP-C redirected the client. QMHP-C reiterated the importance of interacting with peers/adults in a positive manner, controlling impulsive behavior by staying in his assigned area, and following directions given. The client responded well towards the session as evidenced by positive feedback. The client communicated that his day was going well. During morning observations, the client agreed to continue following directions given while cleaning up his area after eating breakfast. During midday socialization activities, the client was receptive to redirection and agreed to interact with his peers in a positive manner while watching a movie at the theater. During afternoon observations, the client was unreceptive to redirection by interacting with QMHP-C in an inappropriate manner. The client was then able to calm down and agreed to interact with peers/adults in a positive manner, control impulsive behavior by staying in his assigned area, and to follow directions given during lunch.
